Osama Bin Laden’s Niece — Reality Star?
This may not be very PR related, unless we analyze it from a national reputation point of view, but what is this country coming to? All political ideology aside, has the entertainment industry run out of ideas to the point where this is necessary? Reality TV in general, despite being highly addictive depending on the show (honestly), is wearing out its welcome. This is just … I don’t know. I’m at a loss.

it seems everything is reality TV. I watch American idol.
Reality TV is so predictable that it can’t be real. Its an insult to be slapped with not only the emotional turbulence designed to blindly engage the audience but the dramatic mood inducing music and very poor cinematograhpy that mirror the lack of self respect of the addicted viewers. These types of shows are a -clear data feed -masterfully designed to overload the bored and empty public - programmed to work, eat, sleep, - and to feed the appetite of the economic socially adored giants whose deep desire for power, control and wealth have always inherited the earth.
We are addicted to short trip fixes that provide socially acceptable distractions that make us feel better about our mundane lives.
Say no - turn the shows off, read a book, write, paint, walk, spend time doing something that forces the exercise of the human soul, the mysteries spirit, and the infinite imagination available to all of us.
Even PR is reality TV - anyone watched PoweR Girls on MTV recently?
HAHA. Alexandra, don’t even get me started on that joke passed off for PR. There’s a big difference between being a publicist that goes through the roladex and PR people who actual develop *targets* and work for coverage, develope relationships, etc. I hate that they even let them capitalize the P and the R.
